![]() | RukrymMay 2007 Is anyone using 'Icelandic - Grammar Texts Glossary'? If not I'd recommend it, but if anyone is familiar with it, I am wondering whether there are occasional inconsistencies in the exercises, or whether I am just getting confused as a beginner. For example, in an exercise about a doctor and his son, " sé r" is attached to the doctor for one instance. This was thoroughly confusing and I spent ages trying to sort out when if ever a naturally masculine and grammatically neutral noun would be treated as feminine. It would be comforting to know whether to expect inconsistencies or not, so if anyone knows I'd be very appreciative. :) |
