Chai tea is a black tea. A little spicy, depending on where you get it. Chai tea is pretty good, you should give it a try if you like black teas.

Сhai means tea, and it's usually brewed in a kettle. It can be chai from Sri Lanka, China and India. In Turkey, tea called Chai and is also good. There are so many kinds of Chai. It can be a herbal chai from different herbs. The chai can be with thyme, lime, bergamot, lemongrass, сarcade, chai with honey, chamomile, rosemary, citrus, strawberry with cream, it can be just as flavored as anything. In Italy, for example, I dont know what they drink in packages on which tea is written. We always asked boiling water and brewed our own chai.

In English, "Chai Tea" refers to a type of tea, Indian-style spiced tea. Usually served with milk and honey.

Chai means 'tea'. When you buy it in shops/cafes etc it is usually a spiced tea.
