BulisGeçen ay Thank you for you detailed answer 💛
mawnstarGeçen ay its more of a rare idiom now, most people just say something like ”wow, it’s raining really hard, huh?” or something like that. |
AussieInBgGeçen ay ”It’s raining really hard” is primarily American English. ”It’s raining really heavily.” would be more used in British English.
Both British and American English use ”it’s pouring” to idiomatically talk about heavy rain.
Another idiom used in British English to talk about heavy rain is ”it’s bucketing down” - like water is being poured from buckets. This one is probably used even more in Australian English
BulisGeçen ay Thanks 👍🏻
