exRangerNovember 2019 "Moved things around" "Changed things" "Moved items" (could be "physical material" and/or such "abstract material" as, say, a list of appointments arrayed on a calendar, a to-do list, etc. And those are the tip of the iceberg... there are other, more nuanced/abstract applications of the phrase, but the ones above account for most applications in "typical" English communication. No doubt s.o. will arrive here to chime in others, attempt to negate what I've outlined above, etc. And so it goes around here. |
