What’s the difference between : to find out, to figure out and to understand?

To find out usually refers to when a person has to look at an outside source to find the answer (like Googling it or looking it up online)

To figure out usually implies that the individual is going to do the work to find the answer (similar to a math problem)

To understand is to comprehend what is being said. However, to find out and to figure out are largely used interchangeably so there isn't too much of a distinct difference between the two
