"I was born to study and work in hotel and tourism industry"

I won't start with the over-used clichés and the sentences which everyone got bored to hear,

As for me I wasn't ‘passionate’ or even interested when I first started to study tourism and hospitality, it's just came across my way after I finished my Baccalaureate at 2004 and I chose it because, it was one from the domains which offers me wide range of future careers in my country.

The first year was pretty normal and somehow boring as I majored in tourism agencies (which is also I chose it randomly because of one friend's advice), subjects were based basically on history, remains, Arabic language, and the most boring was the ticketing, and IATA which you study it and you see yourself  a man on 40s sitting behind the computer wearing your heavy glasses and getting really united with your pc like you became one, like all your skills limited on how good the entries how cheap ticket rate you can get to the customers, so it was quiet frustrating.

With the second year I decided to study and live it but my way, it helped me the second year subjects which were more various, it focused more on foreign languages : (high level of English, English for tourism and hospitality, basic French), Business strategies, basic of management, food and beverages, hotel operation..etc   subjects based on the elements of what the real of tourism and hospitality, here I found myself and I expanded my horizon , I felt it like it's deep ocean and I need to study and sink inside more, so at this point I loved my domain and decided to be not only a student  (at that time) or an employee (in the future)but much more, so I worked really hard developing myself as "I got the passion" I started to look at my study different and I put a sequential goals on my mind, and with the time going I achieved it perfectly, I got good grades and  ambitious character qualified me to start my high studies in tourism and hospitality as I found out cannot separate tourism from hospitality in case you want to be a successful manager in one of them..

I went for HND in marketing and tourism and it felt like im not really studying and just giving assignments it were more like I'm living it, especially at that time I started my first part time job in front office department in five stars hotel, and got my subjected studies and assignments based and applied on my work and interacted between the theories and practical life.

So I also got my HND with good grades, I felt like it made me a different person been created to work and study nowhere but in this domain, so I chose to complete my study and get more deep into hotels and hospitality, I went for another diploma for hotel Management, also I found it as I wanted it to be, so interesting to me and I was really good at it, at that time I was working on my self- development whether getting deeper with the subjects (the most: hospitality management, operation strategy, and subjects which makes you in the position of manager and decision maker for the foundation) even through my work duties and getting myself as possible in all hotel departments.

Finished my studies and I chose to travel to gain more experience outside my country, always Dubai been my dream to go and work there even for while, so with the first available chance I went to Kuwait worked there in agency for travel and tourism then I market myself well, proved my efficiency, and been promoted shortly to (a business development supervisor) then been assigned to make some company deals with hotels in Dubai, so I travelled there as I was planned and lived the experience, then moved to better job in Saudi and worked in a hotel as Front office manager, until this time which I had to come to UK and to be able to continue my studies since also it was a goal for me, I believe in a phrase " only the time you don't need to learn is the time when your heart beats stop"

Hospitality Management with Tourism course would develop me and give me more skills I felt like I started to lose it in there 4 years far of studies and getting into the work routine and indolence.

Hobbies: Swimming, Football ( soccer ) , volley and basketball when I have time.

Sorry for Long statement, and sorry for the fact of I didn't comply with statement rules, but I just expressed myself and I felt it more simple and will reach you the way I wanted it to reach.
