Could anybody help me or explain me with some examples about the word EVEN? Because I know it has many uses but it makes me feel confused. I had use it as an adverb but not as a verb or adjective.

Adjective. Let's say you are watching soccer. The teams have the same score. You could say- "The score is even." In this sense it means, 'these two things are equal to each other'.

Okay now for a verb. Lets say you are pouring concrete. It's all lumpy and not spaced out the same. You might tell somebody. "Even it out." Which again, in other words, means 'make it equal'.

One more. A bit trickier. It can be used for emphasis. Let's say you take a vacation and it wasn't as great as you expected. You might say to a friend, "It wasn't even fun". Here's the trick. You could remove the word even and it would have the almost the same meaning. The word 'even' changes it to mean that you were expecting to have a good time.

Hope this helps.
