looking for assistant/english teacher IN ENGLAND for advices!!!

hi!



I'm a french student and i'd like to be a french assistant in an english school in automn. I know that i leave it late, but i had some changes of plan..



That's why i'd like to have some advice from teachers who live in england or from assistants:



      - do i have to go through an organism or is it possible ti find a post by own?

(I know that there is a organism which is in charge of this kinf of jobs, but it's too late :/)



      - what is the english level required?

(as you can see, my english is not very fluent ..)
