    • To start with, I think that developing countries should respect the environment, even though it might contradict their growth.

    • For instance, deforestation in Brazil seems to have created huge dammages to the environment.
    • The nature all around us, especially in developing countries, remains very fragile.
    • Nevertheless, I have to admit that economic growth is a priority for the poorest countries.
    • Therefore, in some circumstances, developing countries could be allowed to pollute a little bit more than the richest countries.
    • In other words, I do not believe that every country must be submitted to the same rules.
    • While India or african countries need to develop their economy to survive, Europe and the U.S certainly have the means to focus on environmentally-friendly policies.
    • To conclude, there is obviously a strong link between economic growth and environment.
    • Thanks to the science, it is now possible to implement economic models which develop economy as well as it preserves the environment. THANK YOU !
