Deputy Head Bishop of Pentecostal RC Vasily Evchik participated in the regional report-election conference of Khabarovsk Association of Pentecostal Russian Church from November, 8 to 11.

Here is what the bishop told about his trip.

"I thank all prayer-men, brothers and sisters, who supported me in prayer during the trip to Khabarovsk.

God acted in a special way, and I felt His blessing.

By statute in each regional association of Pentecostal RC quadrennial elections of regional presbyter (bishop) are held.

Due to instructions of Pentecostal RC, I participated in report-election conference in Khabarovsk Krai association whose senior presbyter for the last 4 years had been Leonid I. Momotok.

At the regional pastoral council, brother Leonid reported on his work, told about trends and processes in the regional association.

When the report was finished, the council made a positive view on it followed by a prayer.

Then brothers unanimously endorsed the candidacy of brother Leonid to become the senior presbyter of the association for the next four years.

On behalf of the Pentecostal RC, I thanked brother Leonid for the ministry and joint cooperation, expressed the hope that in the future the service would be strengthened for the expansion of God's kingdom in the region.

Leadership of the Russian Church really sees good dynamics in the development of the churches of the Khabarovsk Territory.

Earlier in the regional association, there cooperated only some churches being a part of the Russian Church, now the number of participants in joint projects and ministries with brother Leonid has been multiplied.

Election information was provided to participants of the regional conference called "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, There is Liberty"; there was performed a blessing prayer for the brother Leonid Momotok and his family.

The conference itself served as a special blessing for me personally.

It was attended by brothers from the Ukraine, the Irkutsk region (Bishop Boyarchuk L.A. with his deputy Kachan K.I.) and many brothers and sisters from other regions.

Blessing of the conference was also the participation of the "Grace-2" church’s choir which pastor is Ivan Jurkov.

This church had provided its premises for the conference.

During my stay in Khabarovsk, I also attended a meeting with representatives of social ministry of churches of the association.

We managed to get acquainted, discuss results of the ministry, outline plans for a joint cooperation, and consider plans of carrying out the regional conference of the social ministry.

There were reached agreements and started preparations for the organization of this conference.

During the communication, I drew attention to the good trend in collaboration with the administration of Khabarovsk Krai in the field of social work.

Joint actions are held.

We wish that this cooperation will grow even more, and hope that the good experience of Khabarovsk Krai will be useful to serve as a blessing to other regions.

Ministers of Khabarovsk association asked to reproduce to the leadership of the Russian Church that their union is open for full cooperation, that they invite both ministers, and the Head Bishop of the Russian Church to visit their region more often, and also asked to consider the question of ordination of brother Leonid Momotok to bishop.

Also there were expressed special thanks to those brothers and sisters who had responded and gave donations for flood victims.

This support was very timely and served as a special blessing for the people caught up in a difficult situation.

They asked to continue to pray for them, that God might help to implement all plans of reparation after the flood.

On Sunday, God gave me an opportunity to serve in the "Grace" church which pastor is brother Vladimir Pak.

I participated in three services and preached on the theme "Love Bears All Things".

I express my special thanks to the church for the prayer and financial support for the "Good News" church of Naberezhnye Chelny (which senior pastor I am) with church’s gathering place difficulties.

Once again, I thank those who prayed for the trip; thanks to your prayers, God has kept me, and gave a special anointing in preaching and prayers.
