    • First text Catherine, first of all, when you present yourself or introduce yourself in writing it is important to understand there is a different emphasis. Remember, you are not writing a script, you are not writing spoken words you are writing about yourself, your interests and your goals. Let me recommend you eliminate or edit the words "Hi everybody", and "Bye!" Those greetings and salutations are often saved for actual conversations unless you are quoting someone else, other than yourself. Understand? The following correction, is my recommendation.¶My name is Catherine and I am from Brazil. (or: I am Brazillian.)¶I would like to learn English and want to do an exchange with another language learner who wants to learn my language. I like to read, books, instruction manuals, blogs and I also like to travel and watch movies. My favorite activities include, going to the movies and riding my bicycle. (or: My favorite activities include, going to the movies and bicycling.)¶¶Most of your sentences are well written. Keep in mind when learning a language it is best to keep the sentence simple, avoid writing compound sentences. Very good job, thank you.
