  • The last sentence stumps me most: what tense should be in the last part of it ("I am", "I was", "I would be" etc.)?
  • "...As for my friends, we have a lot in common.
    • We also always try to listen to one another and to understand.
    • So, I guess that is why we manage to get on well.
    • However when we argued, we always tried to see one another’s point of view.
  • Here’s how we solved such problems.
    • I guess, if someone of them took offence at me, I would do everything I could in order to show how sorry I am..."
