Object : Application for an internship Dear hiring manager, I am writing this letter to you with the intention of showing you my interest for an internship in Loulé’s tourist information center.

After graduating with a bachelor in foreign languages applied to business (Licence LEA) with majors in English and Korean, I decided to deepen my language and business knowledge with a master’s degree in international business and administration communication.

My diploma in foreign languages gave me the opportunity to discover more about different cultures and history, which quickly became a new hobby for me.

During my bachelor’s degree, I had the chance to travel to Korea for a year, which helped me understand how interesting tourism could be.

I was born and raised in France, but Portugal is the land my mother was born in, so I decided to acquire the Portuguese nationality as well as my French nationality.

I come to Portugal often for the summer break and always have the greatest time there.

For this reason, I would like to help tourists to have the same wonderful experience in the Algarve as I do everytime I come.

Having the opportunity to work in your establishment as an intern for 3 weeks would help me to get a first experience in the tourism sector and complete this goal to help other people during their trip in Portugal.

Despite being deeply connected to Portugal and raised in its culture, I unfortunately never had the opportunity to properly learn the language.

However, I mastered the English language during my bachelor’s degree and I always saw a lot of french tourists every time I came to Portugal.

Therefore, I think I could be of great help during the summer time.

Furthermore, staying at my family’s house in Almancil, I have a good knowledge of the area of Loulé, and wouldn’t have too much trouble guiding people around it.

I also worked several part-time jobs in France that allowed me to develop great customer contact and care skills that could also be helpful.

I am extremely motivated and serious when it comes to an opportunity to learn.

Giving me a chance to discover the world of tourism in a country that I deeply love and care about would be of precious help for me in the continuation of my studies.
