I was born in Russia and currently, I live in Moscow.

I work as a sales representative for an IT company that develops software for business needs such as services for online accounting, CRM systems, and programs that optimize business processes in retail and wholesale.

I’m planning to change my job position and start my career in business analysis and start some business on the side in the nearest future.

From this entrepreneurship class and from my studies at UoPeople, I’m willing to gain applied knowledge in starting and owning a business.

I used to work as a self-employed in video production and in marketing fields.

This is quite not the same as owning a real business with officially employed workers that you have to take care of, cash flows to manage, customers to serve, and partners to negotiate.

I believe I can be an entrepreneur since I have a good sense of the market, problem-defining and solving skills, organizational experience, understanding of marketing and sales, basic knowledge in accounting.

And last but not least I’m ready to take risks and chase opportunities no matter what.

As from my experience, not many people are ready to leave their 9 to 5 jobs in order to work 24/7 at the beginning and build their own business.

Sometimes it’s simply due to obligations such as mortgage or children and they can’t give up stable income and take financial risks.

And some people just want to do something cool for a while and then resting for the rest of their days.

As for me, I understand that it takes time, effort, knowledge, and patience to start a business from scratch and operate it in accordance with market needs, and your own values.
