Travel anecdote

• The most unusual thing that happened during my trip, was a delay.

• What is so unusual you ask?

• But what would you say if I say that this delay was for a week?

• In the day of set off I looked at the window and saw that there was a strong wind and snow outside.

• It was a typical winter in Chukotka (this is the very north of Russia) where is cold all year round and I didn’t pay attention to it.

• But when I reached the airport a real blizzard started.

• Obviously, all flights had to be delayed.

• Moreover, it was impossible to return home in such awful weather.

• However, airline was ready for such a turn: because there were only dozens of passenger they decided to give everyone room at the hotel!

• They also had a supermarket and gave everyone special ticket that allowed taking everything you need.

• So, nobody was upset about the delay: we watched TV, played board game, and enjoyed free food.

• This delay turned out to be a little vacation.

• But instead of all-inclusive we had a free supermarket and instead of sunny beaches outside was a blizzard.
