Correccions

I am writing to inform you of my desire to participate in the project “COP Operation, Young Climate Ambassadors”.

I was born in 1999 and I have grown hearing about climate change in the news, the school and in conversations of adults but the subject never worried me very much, I remember thinking that global warming was a grown people problem.

That was until I entered high school, when I started reading and watching documentaries about the tremendous consequences that will be upon us, the youth, if we keep the same path.

I realized that climate crisis was not something distant in the future, it was already here, and that we must take action.

That is why I am currently studying Renewable Energy Engeneering, I believe that clean energy is a vital tool that we have not exploited.

Since I started college four years ago I started to involve myself more deeply in this matter and I have been well aware of the role we play as young people in this fight against climate change, I have had the opportunity to discuss ideas with companions, to read about mexican environmental law and its changes, to volunteer in different organizations and to speak to people about this important matter.

My engineering background in sum with the social and environmental courses I have taken have prepared me to be a leader in my community making a meaningful contribution that lead to reducing our plastic consumption, to buy local to reduce our carbon footprint and to spark initial interest in this crisis.
