It can be a really strong tool to make spectators think about social problems, for example.

A good story can touch their feelings and maybe make them change their own lives.

At the same time there is another important thing - the delivery of the performances because the way you show to other people your own thoughts and feeling is an indispensable part of a behind-the-scenes job.

3) At the theatre performances are going on the stage and you can see a live action.

In films a lot of actions can be created with computer technologies which is not possible at the theatre.

In films lots of scenes can be repeated whereas t the theatre all the actions are going in a real time.

So, a film is a final result of an editor while there are always a creative process at the theatre where actors cam improvise.
