"Constellation" summed up the results
On June 28, 2009, the unique international festival of film actors "Constellation", which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, ended in Tver.
It paved the way for many well-known Russian film festivals today, such as «Kinotavr» in Sochi, «Kinoshok» in Anapa, «New cinema of Russia» in Yekaterinburg, «Brigantine» in Berdyansk, and many others.
This year, more than 100 film actors from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Poland have become guests of the festival.
For the first time, in addition to Tver, six other cities of the Tver region became participants of the festival: Rzhev, Kimry, Torzhok, Vyshny Volochek, Konakovo and Udomlya, where the actor's landing "Constellations" went daily.
At the opening ceremony of the festival, the professional award of the Russian screen actors Guild "For outstanding contribution to the profession" was presented.
This year it went to people's artist of the USSR Vasily Semenovich Lanov, people's artist of Russia Vsevolod Shilovsky and people's artist of Russia Zinaida Mikhailovna Kiriyenko.
During the festival years, more than 30 outstanding actors of Soviet and Russian cinema got this award.
There are Ellina Bystritskaya, Alexey Batalov, Mikhail Ulyanov, Rimma Markova, Vyacheslav Tikhonov, Tamara Semina, Yuri Yakovlev and many others among them.
The Chairman of the organizing Committee of the festival is Mikhail Zaitsev, first Deputy Governor of the Tver region.
The President of the festival is Alexander Goloborodko, people's artist of the Russian Federation, winner of State prizes.
The founders of the festival are the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, Guild of actors of cinema of Russia, the city Administration of Tver, the Tver oblast Administration, the Union of cinematographers of the Russian Federation, state film Fund of the Russian Federation.
