To study English is very popular in Russia now.

People understand that English is the language of international communication and use different possibilities to learn foreign languages.

All Russian institutions of higher education have a curricula with foreign languages included, 80% of them study English.

Training foreign languages is a quite difficult and multilateral process of formation of foreign-language communicative competence which has to consider many different aspects, including the organizational moments, the principles of generation and perception of the speech inducing to training motives, possibilities of creation of the language environment.

The purpose of their training is to teach language.

And at the same time the main tutorial is also language.

This situation can drive the beginning teachers practically into a corner.

How to teach a foreign language, using a foreign language?

The majority find a way out of current situation in combination of the foreign language and the native language of students without which it is almost impossible to do at the initial stages of training.

There are different opinions on a ratio of a native and foreign language in the course of training from full rejection of use of the native language before consideration of its unique and irreplaceable role in learning foreign languages.

We believe that it is impossible to refuse to use the native language, especially in the conditions of training of monolinguistic groups at initial stages of education..
