  • Reading Fiction is Becoming Less Important for Teenagers

    • The books have opened a gateway to the outside world for previous generation of people.
    • But nowadays, the television has replaced the fiction and the reading in general.
    • The books are becoming less and less important for modern teenagers.
    • Nevertheless, is the fiction still relevant?
    • Personally, I think that TV has radically changed our lives, but the role of books is still essential for modern teenagers, and I believe this for two reasons.
    • First and foremost, the fiction, especially the classic literature, is a great storehouse of knowledge and the eternal truths.
    • The books form child's mind and behavior, teach they the nobility, the kindness and the humaneness.
    • And the second reason is that the fiction broads teenagers' horizons, develops their imagination, and makes they creative.
  • However, some people might argue with my opinion.
    • They convinced that there is no necessity in paper books in digital era.
  • Contemporary teenagers can find any information via the Internet or get it on TV.
    • In spite of my respect to this argument, I cannot agree with it.
    • One should remember that TVs and computers have a bad impact on teenagers' physical and mental health.
    • Moreover, it is more convenience to get information from a paper writing than from computer version due to the mobility of books.
    • All things considered, I strongly believe that of the fiction is the powerful thing, and it is still relevant in our days
