The idea of this work is to use a smart phone and QR-Codes to implement a method for indoor navigation.
- Navigation needs localisation and routing.
The concept is to use QR-Codes to provide that necessary information.
A smartphone should be able to read and use this information for the navigation process.
- For that purpose it was necessary to develope an smart phone application that is able to detect and read QR-Codes, determine the shortest path and direction and display them on the smart phone's screen.
