My professional goal is to become competent infrastructural Engineer who has good knowledge about environmental impacts of constructions.

After obtaining my masters, I would like to participate in the booming construction sector here in my native country Ethiopia.

Ethiopia is one of the fastest growing economics in Africa.

And the construction industry is the fundamental economic sector which permeates most of the other sectors as it transforms various resources into constructed physical economic and social infrastructure necessary for socio-economic development.

The construction sector has great contributions to the Ethiopian economy, as its big share in the GDP.

By participating in the construction, I can make Social, political and economic impact on my country.

I want to apply for Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering because I am very much interested in to further develop my knowledge on water related courses as it is one of the problems we are struggling here in Ethiopia.

In my professional career I want to work with design, maintenance and construction in the field of civil and environmental engineering.

And to attain my professional goals I find all of the courses very helpful for instance, infrastructure geo engineering, Modelling and problem solving in geo-and water engineering and waste water Engineering are particularly beneficial in pursuing my professional career.

I got my B.Sc. in the highest education institute in the country which is School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

My studies in the school gave me a firm ground across a wide range of civil and environmental applications, with plenty of practical and hand-on experience.

In my professional life, I was working with Huawei Technologies as a site civil Engineer for a year and half in which I gathered relevant knowledge and skills after that I supervised another big project which is a construction of cement factory.

Currently am working on a construction of garment factory which is also a big project in the country.

Working on these big projects allowed me to practice technical knowledge which I gathered during my school years.

I have also practiced my leadership skills in these projects.

One of my best experiences came when I volunteered to participate in the largest international student organization called AIESEC INTERNATIONAL.

I lead a project called Experience heath Ethiopia.

Aim of the project was to create awareness of health and wellbeing in the poor income families in the capital city of Ethiopia.

This project helped me to understand the socio-economic condition of my native country and made me to strive harder to change the current situation of my country.

Thorough all of these experiences I came to understand more about my personality.

I have realized I have good leadership ability and I am somebody who can make a difference.

What makes me think this is that, when I was put in a leadership position my strength was I could bring the best out of people and create a team spirit.

This made them work as a team for the same common goal in harmony, which is the main reason we managed to finish all the projects successfully.

And I understood that using this ability I can make a significant difference.

There are several reasons why I want to study in Sweden but the main reason is the Swedish university system
