  • MOTIVATION LETTER (SCHOLARSHIP) - formal

    • To whom it may concern, I graduated with a Degree in Translation and Interpreting, where I discovered the joy of learning new languages and my passion: teaching.
    • Unfortunately my degree did not have many teaching courses and that is why I decided to take the next step.
    • I am currently studying a Master’s Degree programme in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the Camilo José Cela University.
    • As you may see, I applied for England and Germany as my desired destinations.
    • During secondary school I participated in a student exchange programme in London as a student and as a teaching assistant.
    • It was an amazing experience and I loved everything I discovered about the United Kingdom.
    • Regarding Germany, last year I took part in an Erasmus programme in Stuttgart and I cannot describe how much I enjoyed it.
    • This year I have started working as an English teacher, which has reaffirmed my love for teaching.
  • I would very gladly go back to England or Germany – this time as a teacher – to teach my mother tongue.
  • My Master's Degree is helping me to learn new strategies and methods that I am eager to apply in a real Spanish learning class.
  • I would be delighted to be chosen for this scholarship.
  • I am sure this experience would enrich my future career.
  • Teaching English is easy because I have previously been a student.
  • However, I have never taken a Spanish language class.
  • That is why I think it is essential to first be an assistant, so that I can learn from a senior teacher that will provide me with so much knowledge.
  • I am sure this experience will be valuable for both my studies and my general development.
  • Thank you for considering my request.
  • Yours faithfully,
