Studying Abroad
- Many students chose attend university in other countries instead of local colleges.
- It is a brave decision since those students have to face challenges like a different language and culture.
- However, there are benefits in choosing to study abroad which can compensate the difficulties.
- It is not every country that had developed or choose developed the same majors because of cultural or economic issues.
- It is completely understandable a student who move to other country in order to study something that he cannot find in his own country.
- As an example, I can use my own case.
- I want to study screenwriter; although there are a few courses about it here in Brazil, there is no degree and the courses are not really good, at least, not so good as it is in other places.
- Secondly, study in another place it is a chance to meet new people and a different culture.
- It can be challenging indeed, but it can also be funny; a chance to grownup.
- When people discover that the world it is not only they home country, they tend to see the world on a less biased way.
- Thirdly, it is a chance to share your own culture throughout the world.
- A foreigner view can, sometimes, be exactly what some institutions need; a point-of-view from a different place, with a different history.
- A student from a third world country can enrich classes discussions about the history of his country, and vice-versa.
- Students from developed countries who study on countries in development can change the way those countries are saw.
- In conclusion, there are several reasons which can be appointed that can lead a student chose to study away from home.
- If a student has how to do it and is willing to face the difficulties of a new language and a new culture, he does not have to think twice.
- Take the opportunity and conquer the world.
