Gap year program

• The three things I love the most are certainly the nature, children and animals.

• That's why I chose the program: "Gap Years with Daktari Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage."The program lasts from 1 week to 3 months and is situated on a reserve near Kruger Park in South Africa.

• The project is a non profit organisation.

• The purpose of this program is to teach underprivileged schoolchildren to love and respect the wildlife.

• Children can learn with volunteers and also encounter wild animals.

• Volunteers have an important role in children's education with more focus on topics such as anti-poaching, wildlife, private game reserves, ecosystems and tourism.

• The only difficulty is that it is not always easy to be a teacher with young children, and the language barrier is also very destabilizing.
