Languages in Indonesia

• Once Indonesia people come from different ethnics, Indonesia has many languages.

• Those languages are called as a first language (mother tongue).

• For instance, Central Java is a place where I was born, so my ethnic is Javanese and my native (first language) is Java language.

• Indonesian belongs to their second language.

• It is got after their first (mother tongue) language.

• On the other hand, the role of English is as foreign language.

• English is first taught in elementary school up to college.
