George Orwell
- George Orwell was born in 1903.
- He was a renowned writer, publicist.
- More commonly known as an author of a cult novel «Nineteen Eighty-Four» and «Animal Farm».
- He also coined the term «Cold War».
- «Animal Farm» is one of my favorite books.
- I found this book extremely amusing and accurate.
- Clearly, George Orwell was against antidemocratic regimes and fought against it for all he was worth.
- The author studied the history of The Soviet Union and depicted it brilliantly.
- I mean all significant events.
- For instance: the original plan was to make animals equal, the animals fought over this idea, they shed a lot of blood in the battle.
- The animals evicted humans from the farm and it was supposed to be the beginning of happy life.
- Although their masters fled from the farm, nothing changed in their life, nothing at all.
- The Pigs are obvious references to Soviet government, yes, of course, they are animals too, but they seized the power and depressed the rest animals as humans used to do.
- The initial purpose was to make animals equal, but then pigs living conditions differed utterly from living conditions the rest builders of the bright future.
- The pigs didn’t work at all, ate delicious food and fed their subordinates with promises day after day.
- Then pig-Trotsky was exiled from the farm.
- All his achievements were removed from animal consciousness, moreover, he turned a traitor.
- Afterwards, it was easy enough to justify all failures with the interference of the outcast pig.
- Just like it was in Soviet Russia
