    • Comment to an experiment

    • Every person is isolated from the others, to avoid any influence.
  • There is a clock in the setting, thus the volunteers can check the time.
    • The assigned tasks is a general culture questionnaire, which can be completed in 15 minutes.
    • The first control group do not receive any time indication.
    • The second group receive a deadline, corresponding to the average time needed to complete the task, doubled (approx. 30 minutes).
  • The same duration is given to the third group, but as a simple estimation.
  • The first and the third group do not have any time restriction to complete the task.
    • After returning the worksheet, the volunteers of group two and three are asked to evaluate if the time given/indicated were fair, and how much time would it take to conduct another similar task.
