    • The origin of the graffiti

    • The graffitis exist for long time.
  • In the Ancient Greece and Worsen Romain.
    • In 1973, the New York Magazine launches the contest of the most beautiful graffiti of the subway.
    • In the Seventies the culture hip-hop emerges from the graffiti but also from other forms of expression born at the same time: a new rather lifting dance (station-wagon dance), a musical genre containing spoken texts (rap), of mixing of discs (dee jaying), (scratch) and of festivals in the open air (sound systems).
  • The two most famous pioneers of a conjunction between station-wagon dance, rap, dee-jaying and graffiti are Phase 2 and Fab Five Freddy.
  • At the end of the years 1970, the graffiti was severely repressed in the subway of New York and started to be diffused on the walls of the districts (boroughs) underprivileged of the city before extending (of essaimer) in other American big cities (Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington) and in various European big cities: Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona in particular.
  • It is at that time also that the medium of art starts to lean seriously on the subject [16].
  • “Legendary” graffiteurs such as Lee Quinones, Seen, Futura 2000 or Fab Five Freddy paint on fabrics and expose their work in galleries such as Tony Shafrazi Gallery or Fun Gallery de Patti Astor, the gallery Fashion Moda or the Gallery Sydney Janis.
  • Painters who do not come from the disadvantaged districts of New York and which followed a traditional course in Arts or visual communication, interested by the idea of an urban art or a clandestine art, join to the graffiteurs (like Jenny Holzer, who will make write her “truisms” with the bomb by Lady Pink) or adapt their practice (Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, Rammellzee).
  • I thus will present to you some influential works of artist in the medium of the graphitti.
  • I will present three works of art.
  • The first is that of « Lee Quinones » with this graff «Howard the Duck » who goes back to nineteen eighty eight.
  • We can see a duck wich hides behind a lid of dustbin.
  • The artist wrote on the left side a quotation wich is « Graffiti is a art and if art is a crime let god forgive a ».
  • On the right this pseudonym Lee is whritten in green and the shades are black.
  • The second plan is a round red task.
  • The second photography represent a work of art of Banksy wich is entlited Sparkle Banksy.
  • On this realization a young girl is on one to swing hair with the wind.
  • The swing is attached to a letter A which is a A this PARKING.
  • On the wall he writes PARKING but a letters I, N, G are removed to create a new word wich is PARK.
  • For artist Lady pink I chose a work of art « Characters » fact in New York City it September 2009.
  • In the background I watch a color military.
  • The main character of this artistic work is a women whose represent « the statute of freedrom ».
  • The character is ironic because a women is fat, it makes me think a Boudha.
  • It’s skin color is pink.
  • This lady is hung by one leaves.
  • Leaves is held by a monkey.
