- So that, as a result of a smoothly development of the tourism industry.
- Technology has been having a fundamental role in the tourism industry.
- Thanks to advances in technology and the use of internet, travellers can choose destinations, accommodation, activities and transport.
- The internet not only does allow to make a choice, but also gives travellers the possibility to keep in touch to each others exchanging experiences, suggestions, thoughts.
- There is a new relation between tourists and travel industry, but also among tourists.
- Thanks to internet applications’ travellers have more awareness of tourism product.
- Consequently choice of destination has being influenced by other travellers experiences.
- The selection is also based on offers, promotions and a range of activities proposed.
- People want to stay in contact with local people experiencing their holiday in many different ways.
- Accommodation and transport have been changing because there is a remarkable price competition.
- Moreover the development of new low cost airlines has marked the tourism industry, because the distances between different places was reduced.
- Finally tourists are more aware of the product, they always are in contact with other people who had already done the same experience, and they want to share their moments during the holiday on social networks.
- Therefore tourism industry has been changing an it will be many years more.
