Actors of charging infrastructure's development
- These actors joined together to establish the “Hirtzman mission” in October 2012: a 50 million euro investment program to support electric vehicles and charging infrastructure and also some local authorities (Paris, Nice, Rochelle, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, …) assisting the infrastructure network development.
- Private actors: Legrand and Schneider electric two leaders in charging equipment with 2 different strategies: Legrand gives priority to the cheap and simple solutions of recharge while Schneider electric has chosen a strategy of promoting more expensive but also more sophisticated solutions of recharge.
- Schneider has developed an important partnership with Renault and they are working together on many related questions.
- We have also Bolloré.
- By supplying Autolib, this actor has contributed to public charging infrastructure development in Paris (the first most dense charging infrastructure in France) and finally, I should mention Nissan group for his program for developing a fast charging network in Europe so as in France, in partnership with the French quick charger manufacturer DBT.
