- The charts demonstrate the number of Japanese travelled to foreign countries as tourists from 1985 to 1959, and the proportion of them who travelled particularly to Australia in same decade.
- The bar graph shows that the number of Japanese travelled abroad was 5 million in 1985, and it increased dramatically to reach 15 million people in 95 as three times as more travellers.
- Although it was a noticeable fluctuation from 1991 to 1993 but it continued to increase in 1994.
