    • The charts demonstrate the number of Japanese travelled to foreign countries as tourists from 1985 to 1959, and the proportion of them who travelled particularly to Australia in same decade.
    • The bar graph shows that the number of Japanese travelled abroad was 5 million in 1985, and it increased dramatically to reach 15 million people in 95 as three times as more travellers.
    • Although it was a noticeable fluctuation from 1991 to 1993 but it continued to increase in 1994.
    • The line graph illustrates the Australia’s shares of Japan’s tourist market also in these ten years .
    • The percentage of Japanese visitors was 2 in 1985 and it increased by 5% in 1989.
    • However, it dropped slightly to 4.2% in 1990 an it recovered to reach the peak of around 6.1% in 1994.
    • In conclusion, there is a correlation between two graphs that the Australia’s share of Japan’s tourist market increased as long as the number of Japanese was travelling abroad grown.
