Join us for an amazing hiking adventure at Nijozan! No need to speak English, as there will be participants who don't speak English either! 🙂

Please note that our knowledgeable guide for this hike is Bryan Baier, who has more than 2 years of experience working for Nara Tourism. He will provide valuable insights and make this experience even more memorable!

This event creates the perfect blend of Japanese and international participants, resulting in a fantastic atmosphere. If you have an interest in hiking, we invite you to join us. Looking forward to meeting you!

Embark on an exciting hike to the two summits of Mt. Nijo (O-dake and Me-dake), which form a prominent part of the mountain range that separates Osaka and Nara Prefectures. These peaks offer breathtaking views and an enjoyable hiking experience!

To get a glimpse of what awaits you, check out the photos of our previous hikes: Photos of the Hike

After conquering the summits and taking in the panoramic views of two prefectures, we will visit the historic Taima-dera Temple. This temple stands out as the only one dating from the 8th century that still preserves both of its original pagodas. Prepare to be amazed by the unique and historic architecture it offers!

To add some extra excitement, we'll head to an authentic sumo arena (built to authentic specifications, of course) for a friendly sumo bout among friends and fellow hikers.

This will be a fulfilling day filled with extraordinary experiences that will surely delight all participants.

Don't forget to bring your lunch, water, and wear appropriate hiking shoes and clothes suitable for the weather conditions.
