This time, we're taking luxury to the next level. No scooters like last summer. Instead, we've arranged private drivers to transport us comfortably to and from the hiking trails.

What we will do:

Friday:
Catch the first train from Rome and hop on a ferry to Ischia Forio at 11:00 am. As soon as we arrive on this otherworldly island (think volcanic landscapes, Caribbean vibes, hot springs, and breathtaking seaside views), we'll enjoy a second breakfast together overlooking the harbor.

Next, our private drivers will take us to the other side of the island. Our adventure begins at Piano Liguori, a perfect starting point for an approximately 8 km circular trek on mostly flat terrain. Get ready to immerse yourself in the island's beauty and captivating vistas.

And what could be better than ending our hike with a taste of local, authentic wine and products in front of the magnificent standalone Castel Aragonese? Afterward, we'll explore the charming fishing village adorned with traditional Christmas decorations and fairy lights. Before dinner, we'll arrive at our 4-star hotel in Forio, where our drivers will have already delivered our luggage. Here, we'll have the opportunity to relax in hot thermal swimming pools under the starry Ischia sky.

Saturday:
After a refreshing breakfast, we'll head to Santa Maria al Monte, where we'll embark on a breathtaking hike of medium difficulty. Following in the footsteps of the island's first farmers, we'll make our way to the famous Monte Epomeo, taking in the mesmerizing charm of its volcanic origin, complete with fumaroles and enchanting green tufa houses. Our fairytale-like journey will lead us through the Frassitelli wood.

We'll conclude our fantastic half-day adventure (10 km, elevation gain of 360 meters) by exploring a tropical garden, a magnificent world of incredible fat plants. Here, we'll enjoy a unique local surprise for our light lunch. In the late afternoon, we'll leisurely walk back to the hotel, which is only 15 minutes away. Recharge your batteries with a rejuvenating spa experience just steps from your room. For dinner, everyone is free to choose, whether it's exploring Forio or Sant'Angelo. Both villages offer unique streets and colorful displays to inspire your evening. I'll provide some tips for a memorable dinner!

Sunday:
Rise and shine! In the morning, we'll wake up early to visit seaside hot springs. The itinerary is short (7 km) and easy, but the rewards are immense. Witness the sunrise over the sea and experience nature slowly awakening. Afterward, we'll dip into natural warm springs and indulge in some natural thermal mud. To top it off, we'll enjoy another moment of thermal relaxation at the hotel.

Before we bid farewell to Ischia and head back to Napoli, take a stroll through the picturesque narrow streets of Forio, where you can pick up some souvenirs to remember your extraordinary time on the island.

By the end of this adventure, you'll feel like you've been transported to another world, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Cherish this unique experience and take the slow pace of island life with you!
