Let's start by stating the obvious :) This is a platform to learn new languages and make friends from across the world. As this is the Uttarakhand Network on Polyglotclub you are requested to add information about the - mainly - two dialects/languages of Uttarakhand ( Garhwali and Kumaoni).

Did you know that the two most prominent dialects/languages of our region - Kumaoni and Garhwali - figure among the endangered languages of the world in the list compiled by UNESCO?
