Contrary to a popular belief, it is possible to learn a new language on your own. Here is a method that can also be applied to any other language.
As you'll see, this isn't rocket science. It's mostly a matter of common sense and doesn't require a lot of work.
To start with, it's important to work on the state of mind required to learn a new language. Indeed, when it comes to learning a language, the popular belief is that it's a lot of work. Actually, it's not necessary to work much. Just a few minutes a day can be enough.
Try to diversify the exercises to make your learning less monotonous and develop the different skills.
- Make a grammar lesson
- Read a daily Internet newspaper article
- Watch the news on the Internet
- Watch movies and series in the original version. First with subtitles, then without
- Watch the latest learning English videos proposed by Polyglot Club
- Find Internet song lyrics that you like and try to translate them

- Read books. It is important to improve your vocabulary and construct better grammatical structures

If you have hobbies or interests, surf the net in the language concerned; you will learn much faster without even realizing it.
Start reading books in English as soon as you can. It's a very powerful way forward.

Learning a language should be fun. That's not always the case with the teaching methods used in school.
