We also believe that free events often result in lack of commitment and poor behavior, such as RSVPing and not attending. Our ticketing system helps us improve safety, estimate numbers more accurately, achieve better gender balance, and promote responsible behavior.
• Many free events are organized solely for the benefit of the organizers or their close friends, using them as a platform to market products or services or gain access to members of the opposite gender. We, on the other hand, organize our events solely to benefit our members and cover our costs.
