Anthropology of Food + Exotic Dinner

Do you know that PIZZA is three thousand years old?

Every civilization has known different kinds of flat buns, pies or the like based on a dough made of cereal and water and various seasonings. It is a form of food that no doubt resembles the pizza.

Throughout the world, we find many examples of dishes that remind pizza in their ingredients, composition and cooking. And this globalization of food is a general trend that has important repercussions on the way we feed nowadays.

We will study four cases, in Turkey, Italy, Japan and Mexico. And the participants will have the opportunity to taste the equivalent of the pizza, as it is prepared in those four very different regions.
