Originally a small fishing village, Shanghai grew into a town during the Song Dynasty and became a county-level administration in the Yuan Dynasty. During our walk, we'll encounter 400-year-old city walls that were built as a defense against Japanese Pirates. You'll also have the chance to visit other remarkable sites, including Siming Guild Hall, Ten Thousand Bamboos Elementary School, and the Confucius Temple.
