EVENT OVERVIEW

Toronto is renowned for its multicultural vibrancy, and TorontoBabel embraces this diversity! Unlike other groups that focus on a single language, we offer a platform to practice multiple languages. At our gatherings, you’ll find native speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many more. All language learners, from beginners to fluent speakers, are warmly welcomed!

HOW IT WORKS

TorontoBabel is a dynamic language exchange community where you can assist others in learning your native language while they help you with theirs. We typically have groups practicing languages like French, Spanish, and Korean, and we’ll guide you to where they are. If you prefer to seek out native speakers of your favorite language on your own, that’s perfectly fine too!

If this is your first TorontoBabel event, don’t hesitate to introduce yourself to our wonderful Event Organizers, FARINAZ and TERRY. They will help connect you with native speakers of your target language and can also introduce you to those interested in learning your language.
