EVENT OVERVIEW

Toronto is renowned for its diversity, and TorontoBabel is the perfect way to embrace this multiculturalism! Unlike groups that focus on a single language, our gatherings offer a unique chance to practice a multitude of languages. At each TorontoBabel event, you'll find native speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many others. Don’t hesitate—learners of all proficiency levels, from beginners to fluent speakers, are warmly welcomed!

HOW IT WORKS

TorontoBabel operates as a language exchange group. You’ll have the opportunity to teach others your native language while they help you learn theirs. We typically organize groups focused on languages like French, Spanish, Korean, etc., and we’ll guide you to those groups. If you prefer to seek out native speakers independently, feel free to do so!

For first-time attendees, please take a moment to introduce yourself to our fantastic Event Organizers, FARINAZ and TERRY. They are here to help you find native speakers of your desired language and can connect you with others eager to learn your language.
