Join us for the TorontoBabel Language & Cultural Exchange Night at FIRKIN on YONGE, conveniently located across from Eaton Centre and next to Queen subway station.

If TorontoBabel has enriched your language learning journey, helped you forge new friendships, or provided you with a sense of community, we encourage you to give back. Every contribution, no matter how small, is valued. Nametags will also be available for you to write your name and the languages you're fluent in or wish to improve.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Toronto is renowned for its incredible multiculturalism. Make the most of it with TorontoBabel! Unlike many groups that focus on just one language, we offer a unique opportunity to practice multiple languages at our gatherings. You’ll find native speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Cantonese, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Farsi, and many others. Don’t hesitate to join us—learners of all levels, from beginners to fluent speakers, are warmly welcomed!

HOW IT WORKS

TorontoBabel is a vibrant language exchange community. You can assist others in learning your native language while they help you with theirs. We typically have groups focused on various languages where you can easily find native speakers. If you're comfortable seeking out those speakers independently, that’s perfectly fine too!

If it’s your first TorontoBabel event, be sure to say hello to our wonderful Event Organizers, FARINAZ and TERRY. They will guide you to native speakers of your target language and connect you with individuals eager to learn your language.
