Join us for an engaging language exchange where you will be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations throughout our two-hour session. By attending just twice a week for 2 hours, you'll have the opportunity to connect and practice with an extraordinary number of native speakers.

Achieving fluency in Spanish takes time, but with Spanglish, the process is enjoyable! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in session where you can mingle with fellow language enthusiasts—about 50% of our participants are newcomers! After some fun ice-breaking, you’ll head to your assigned table for your first one-on-one chat. Don’t stress about making mistakes; everyone is learning together! You’ll spend 5 minutes speaking in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, before rotating to a new partner. By the second round, you'll be so immersed in the experience that you’ll forget you’re actually learning!

What Do We Discuss?
The choice is yours! We have no fixed topics, allowing conversations to flow naturally. From discussing your favorite superheroes to sharing restaurant recommendations, it's a fantastic way to practice your language skills in a relaxed setting while chatting about subjects you're passionate about!

Simply visit the bar during check-in time, and a member of the Spanglish staff will assist you with registration!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

You'll engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers during our two-hour session. By attending just twice a week, you can practice with an impressive array of native speakers.
While there’s no fast track to becoming fluent in Spanish, you won’t want one once you experience the fun of Spanglish! The event begins with a 40-minute check-in, where you’ll get to know other participants—many of whom are new! After some ice-breaking activities, you’ll be assigned to a table for your first conversation. Remember, everyone here is learning, so there's no need to feel nervous about mistakes! You will alternate between 5 minutes of English and 5 minutes of Spanish, before moving on to new partners. By the second rotation, we guarantee you’ll be having so much fun that you’ll forget you’re learning!
