What’s the concept?

Join us for an engaging experience where you’ll connect with native speakers through a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour sessions. By participating just twice a week for two hours, you’ll have the opportunity to interact and practice with an exceptional number of native speakers.

Experience the fun!

While there’s no quick path to achieving fluency in Spanish, the joy of Spanglish will keep you motivated! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, giving you a chance to meet fellow Spanglish enthusiasts—about half of our attendees are newcomers! After some ice-breaking activities, you’ll be assigned a table for your initial one-on-one conversation. Don’t fret about making mistakes; your partner is learning too! You will chat for 5 minutes in English, then switch to Spanish for another 5 minutes before moving on to a new partner. By the second round, we guarantee you’ll be having so much fun that you’ll forget you’re learning!

What topics do we discuss at Spanglish?
The sky's the limit! There are no fixed themes. We chat about everything from our favorite superheroes to the best places to eat—it's the perfect way to practice a new language in a laid-back setting while discussing things you love!

Who participates in Spanglish?
Our community includes study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students learning English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and welcoming atmosphere to enhance their conversational skills.

Simply head to the bar during the check-in period, and our friendly Spanglish staff will assist you with registration!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

You’ll be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour sessions. By joining us just twice a week, you’ll meet and engage with a diverse array of native speakers.
There’s no shortcut to Spanish fluency—yet the fun of Spanglish will keep you coming back! The event begins with a 40-minute check-in where you can mingle with other Spanglishers—many of whom are attending for the first time! After some ice-breaking, you’ll start your first conversation at an assigned table. Don’t stress about errors; your partner is also learning! Engage for 5 minutes in English, then switch to Spanish for another 5 minutes before transitioning to new conversation partners. By the second rotation, we promise you’ll be immersed in the fun of learning!
