Are you ready to enhance your language skills and meet new people? Join us for Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange in Palermo! Every Saturday, starting from February 10th, 2024 at 7:00 PM, we offer a unique opportunity to practice Spanish and English with native speakers.

During our two-hour sessions, you will engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with different partners. By attending just two times a week, you will have the chance to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.

Discover the fun of learning with Spanglish

But Spanglish is not just about learning, it's about having fun too! The session starts with a 30-minute check-in period where you can get to know your fellow Spanglishers. Approximately half of the attendees are new each time, so you'll always have the opportunity to meet new people. After a brief ice-breaking activity, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and another 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning!

At Spanglish, we believe in talking about what you love. There are no set topics, so you can discuss anything from your favorite superheroes to your favorite restaurants. It's the best way to practice another language - hanging out in a relaxed environment and talking about things you know and enjoy!

Who attends Spanglish? Our events attract study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

To join, simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time and you will find a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to be paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour session. The session starts with a 40-minute check-in period where you can get to know your fellow Spanglishers. About half of the attendees are new each time, so you'll always have the chance to make new connections. After an ice-breaking activity, you'll be assigned to a new group of conversation partners. Don't worry about making mistakes, everyone is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English, 5 minutes in Spanish, and then move on to a new group. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning.
