Join us for the Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange Palermo event! Every Saturday starting from January 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM.

Experience the unique opportunity to engage in 10-minute conversations with native speakers during our two-hour sessions. By attending just two times a week, you'll have the chance to practice with a remarkable number of fluent speakers.

Spanglish is a fun and effective way to improve your Spanish fluency. The session begins with a 30-minute check-in where you'll get to know other participants - half of whom are new to the event. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be seated at an assigned table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, your conversation partner is in the same learning journey as you! Each conversation lasts for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for discussion. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to the best local restaurants. It's the perfect environment to practice another language while hanging out and discussing topics you're familiar with and enjoy.

Our event attracts a diverse crowd, including study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and comfortable space to enhance their conversation skills.

The cost of attending the event is AR$3500. Alternatively, you can opt for the Spanglish package, which includes 4 events for AR$12000. Additionally, you can enjoy our virtual language exchange events for free.

►HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Simply head to the bar during the check-in time and look for our friendly Spanglish Staff who will assist you with the registration process!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to engage in 10-minute conversations with native speakers during our two-hour sessions. Attending just two times a week, for 2 hours each time, will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to meet and practice with a wide range of fluent speakers. There are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, you won't even want one! Our event kicks off with a 40-minute check-in period where you can get acquainted with other participants - approximately half of whom are newcomers. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, your conversation partner is in the same learning boat as you! Each conversation involves 5 minutes of English and 5 minutes of Spanish before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.
