Looking to improve your language skills? Join us every Thursday for the Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo event! This is the perfect opportunity to practice your English and Spanish with native speakers.

During each two-hour session, you'll be paired with different native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations. By attending just two times a week, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with a large number of native speakers.

The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in period where you'll get to know other participants. Don't worry if you're new, about half of the attendees are too! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Mistakes are welcome here, as your conversation partner is in the same boat. You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning!

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for conversation. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to your favorite restaurants. It's all about creating a relaxed environment where you can practice another language while discussing things you enjoy.

Who attends Spanglish? The event welcomes study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

The cost of attending the event is AR$3000. However, you can also opt for the Spanglish package, which includes 4 events for AR$10500. Additionally, you can enjoy virtual language exchange events for free.

►HOW TO BE PART?
To join the event, simply go to the bar during the check-in time and look for a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to have 10-minute conversations with native speakers during each two-hour session. Attending at least two times a week, for 2 hours each time, will allow you to meet and practice with a large number of native speakers.
There's no shortcut to Spanish fluency, but Spanglish makes the learning process so enjoyable that you won't even want one! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in period where you can mingle with other participants. About half of the attendees are newcomers, so you'll quickly feel at ease. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a group for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as everyone is in the same boat. You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning.
