Join us at the Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange in Palermo! This event takes place every Thursday, starting on October 12, 2023, at 7:00 PM.

Experience the unique opportunity to converse with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during each two-hour session. By attending just two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with an unprecedented number of native speakers.

Immerse yourself in the Spanglish experience, starting with a 30-minute check-in where you'll have the opportunity to get to know your fellow Spanglishers. Don't worry about making mistakes, as everyone is in the same boat! During the event, you'll have one-on-one conversations for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new conversation partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for conversation. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to your favorite restaurants. It's the perfect way to practice another language in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

This event is open to study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

The cost of attending the event is AR$2500. Alternatively, you can get the Spanglish package for 4 events at AR$9000. Additionally, you can enjoy the virtual language exchange events for free.

To be part of the event, simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time, and you will find a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to be paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during each two-hour session. Attending as little as two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, will give you the opportunity to meet and practice with a remarkable number of native speakers.
There are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but Spanglish is so enjoyable that you won't even want one! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in period, where you can get to know your fellow Spanglishers. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll head to an assigned table for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as the person sitting across from you is in the same boat! You'll converse for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.
