Welcome to the Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange Palermo!

Experience the excitement of conversing with native speakers in a unique language exchange event. Join us for a two-hour session where you'll engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with different partners. By attending just two times a week, you'll have the opportunity to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.

At Spanglish, there are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but you won't mind because it's so much fun! The event starts with a 30-minute check-in where you'll get to know other Spanglishers. Don't worry if you're new, nearly half of the attendees are too! After some ice-breaking, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Mistakes are welcome as your conversation partner is in the same boat as you! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning!

What topics do we talk about at Spanglish? The answer is simple: anything you want! There are no set topics, so you can discuss your favorite superheroes, restaurants, or anything else you're passionate about. It's the best way to practice another language in a relaxed environment, talking about things you know and love!

Who attends Spanglish? We welcome study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

Join us by going directly to the bar during the check-in time. Our Spanglish Staff will be there to register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour session. Attending just two times a week, for 2 hours each time, will allow you to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers. There are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, learning becomes so fun that you won't even want one! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in where you'll have the opportunity to get to know other Spanglishers. Around half of the attendees are new, so you'll fit right in. After some ice-breaking, you'll be assigned to a group for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as everyone at your table is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes conversing in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, and then move on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning!
